Siux Secures Leo Augsburger Until 2040: A Historic Deal in Padel
Padel is witnessing a groundbreaking move behind the scenes. Spanish equipment brand Siux has just announced a stunning long-term contract extension with rising star Leo Augsburger, locking in the young Argentinian talent all the way through to 2040.
Spanning 14 seasons, this agreement stands as one of the longest and most ambitious commitments in the history of the sport. It reflects Siux’s complete faith in Augsburger as a cornerstone player for years to come.
A Massive Long-Term Bet
Siux first backed Augsburger early in his professional career. Now, the brand is doubling down in a major way, securing his services for the vast majority of what could be a glittering career.
At just around 20 years old and hailing from Posadas, Argentina, Augsburger is already viewed as one of the most exciting and marketable players on the Premier Padel circuit. His explosive mix of youth, raw power, personality, and crowd-pleasing flair has made him a firm favourite with fans worldwide.
Thanks to this deal, Augsburger will represent Siux until he turns approximately 36 — a clear sign of the enormous sporting and commercial potential the brand sees in him.
Announcement Features Stupaczuk Cameo
The news was unveiled via a joint video from Siux and Augsburger, with a special appearance from fellow Argentinian and circuit heavyweight Franco Stupaczuk (Stupa).
In the video, Stupa tells his compatriot:
“This brand wants to leave a legacy. And you, Leo, have been chosen to carry it on until 2040.”
He couldn’t resist adding a light-hearted jab, referencing a running joke between the two:
“When you talk about the three best left-footed players in the world, don’t forget to include my name.”
Why Augsburger? A Meteoric Rise
Siux’s heavy investment is no coincidence. Augsburger has rapidly established himself as one of padel’s brightest prospects.
His coach, Jorge Martínez — who also works with top players like Galán and Chingotto — frequently praises the youngster’s exceptional determination and relentless hunger for success, qualities that set him apart from his peers.
In a short space of time, Augsburger has already notched up impressive milestones:
- World champion with the Argentine national team
- Premier Padel P1 tournament winner, defeating the top three ranked pairs
- A memorable Madrid P1 title alongside Di Nenno, where the pair stunned the world by beating Tapia and Coello in the final
He is now forming a highly anticipated partnership with Spanish star Juan Lebrón, raising expectations even higher across the circuit.
A Defining Move for Siux
This record-breaking contract sends a powerful message: Siux isn’t just supporting a talented player — they’re building a significant part of their future around him.
In an industry that continues to grow and professionalise rapidly, deals like this have the potential to shape the next era of padel.
