Racketeers Friday Social – 23 January

With Courts 4 and 5 being out of action for exciting upgrades, last night’s Racketeers Friday Social at Virgin Active Padel Club Gateway was an intimate affair with only the remaining 3 courts being used, creating a compact and high-energy setup.

The smaller format meant teams rotated frequently, with players facing each other multiple times through the evening — sharpening rivalries and building proper on-court familiarity.

A brief attempt by Durban weather to interfere was dealt with decisively, leaving us with a clear, calm night that delivered exactly what a Friday social should: quality padel, good flow, and better company.

In the end, Reshin & Sachin took the win over Kimaran & Marvin-Lee. Well played chaps!
