Lebron Out of SA Invitational

Due to injury, Juan Lebron is forced to withdraw from the upcoming SA Invitational.

The Johannesburg exhibition event will bring together 12 of the world’s best players for a team tournament.

Lebron who was to partner with Agustín Tapia to face Arturo Coello and Ale Galán in the closing match, has decided to withdraw. The cause: a minor injury sustained after the Valladolid tournament, which had already forced him to miss the Malaga stage.

“I’m going to miss this event and it really hurts me, but I want to be as ready as possible for the Madrid tournament in September. I have to continue healing the injury I recently suffered,” he explained on his social networks.

The organizers have confirmed that a replacement will be announced in the coming days to join the team.
