Equinox Premier League – Match Day 1

Match day 1 of the Equinox Premier League promised some tight battles, and it didn’t disappoint!

Hard fought games, long rallies, and epic padel was on show at Virgin Active Padel Club Gateway, as the teams fought for their badges on the court.

Families & supporters, cheering on their favourites, completed the spectacle produced on the day🙌

Tristar Renegades lead the pack, losing just 8 of their 25 games vs Solid Pak Vipers. The Vipers, a bit depleted of a few of their top players on the day, fought as best as they could, but were outgunned, by the Renegades, who laid down the gauntlet in style.

Tactical Titans & Smash Padel Giants went head to head, game in, game out. Almost nothing between the two teams. The players produced some breathtaking padel, and it was the Titans who just got the edge by 3 points on the day.

Still early, and all to play for, as Matchday 2 approaches on Saturday 26 July.

The Equinox Premier League – 21 & Over category, Proudly powered by Megatech & Gunfire is a first time concept with Four Clubs, all armed with R300 000 each, going into a bid & buy battle for all registered players.

The battle will continue on the courts over a three week period, in what is sure to be one of the most intense Team vs Team battles we will witness till the final Matchday.
