Racketeers Friday Social – 12 December 2025 – Highlights

After a brief hiatus, our Friday Social returned with another full house, that brought the spectacular Durban weather for an evening that reminded everyone why our club tagline rings true: “Come for the padel… stay for the friendships.

What kicked off as an informal mix of hits quickly evolved into a full-on vibe: rallies, competitive spirits, and both familiar and new faces exchanging rallies.

Photographs from the night reflect it all: intense focus during play, and the charged atmosphere after games .These moments are the foundation of Racketeers’ growing community, showing that padel isn’t just a game we play; it’s a space where friendships take shape and deepen over shared stories and spirited play.

In the end, Isaac and Bevan took the evening’s top spots, with husband and wife team Shaheev and Lashistha putting in a great all-round runners-up performance.
